Vincennes Police stopped Jeremy Harlan near 13th & Seminary after receiving a complaint that he was involved in a dispute in the area. Officers learned of two warrants for his arrest, and Harlan was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at about 7:04 PM officers responded to Fairway Drive in reference to a family fight. Officers arrive on the scene and contact with a victim who showed signs of injury to her neck area. The victim didn’t wish to pursue charge against her boyfriend, Brian Kixmiller.

Photos were taken of the victim’s injuries to her neck area. Brian Kixmiller was arrested on the above charges and taken to the Knox County Jail and lodged.

ARRESTED: Brittany Thacker 32YO Bridgeport, IL

CHARGES: 1. Reckless Driving

2. Leaving The Scene of PD Accident

3. Possession of a Controlled Substance

4. No Financial Proof of Liability / Insurance

5. Driving While Suspended

6. Failure To Appear Warrant / Knox County Court.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at about 2:36 PM officers responded to a Property Damage Auto Accident in the area of Upper 11th & Wabash by RileySchool. Officer arrived on the scene and found that Brittany Thacker had driven through the school area at a high rate of speed before hitting two other vehicles. The driver attempted to leave the scene of the accident and the driver also had in her possession a controlled substance.

The driver license of Brittany B. Thacker was suspended and she could not show any proof of financial responsibility. Brittany also had a Knox County, Indiana warrant for a FTA. Brittany Thacker was taken to the hospital and then taken to the Knox County Jail and lodged.

Charges: Resisting Law Enforcement, A Misdemeanor

Fraud, Level 6 Felony

Officer Kern attempted to stop Lance Shellhouse, a Fraud suspect from a prior case, at 13th & Hart when Shellhouse resisting by fleeing on foot. Shellhouse was apprehended near 14th & Buntin and charged with misdemeanor Resisting Law Enforcement and felony Fraud. He was booked into the Knox County Jail.

ARRESTED: Thomas Lindauer age 40 from VincennesIN

DETAILS: Officers responded to 522 Barnett apt 2 in reference to a tip that there was a male at the residence that had a warrant. Upon Officers arrival Renter allowed access to the apartment and located Mr. Lindauer in the basement. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox Co jail and booked in on the Knox Co warrant for Dealing in Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, maintaining a common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Vincennes Police located Rachelle Johnson at the 6th & Vigo Marathon after she was involved in a minor traffic accident. Officers learned of an active arrest warrant for her, and she was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail to await extradition to GibsonCounty.

A vehicle driven by Phillip Smith was stopped by Vincennes Police at 6th & Vigo Marathon. Smith was wanted on an Illinois arrest warrant. A search incident to arrest yielded a small amount of marijuana on Smith. He was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail.

ARRESTED: Nicholas L Christenberg age 22 from WashingtonIN

DETAILS: Officers responded to Autumn Ridge Building 10 apartment 113 in regards to a male refusing to leave. Upon arrival the male refused to open the door and had barricaded himself the victim and her two young children. Attempts were made to kick the door open without any luck. Finally the door was opened by using a Ram. The male then had barricaded himself inside the back bedroom. That door was forced open. The male was located hiding under the bed. Officers placed the male under arrest and transported him to the Knox Co jail where he was charged with Domestic battery, Strangulation, three counts of Criminal confinement, resisting law enforcement and residential entry. His bond was set at $50,000.00

ARRESTED: Terrell J. Dale 65YO Vincennes, Indiana

CHARGE: Operating While Intoxicated .325%+ BAC

On Monday, 08-11-2014 at about 4:09 PM officers responded to a call of a vehicle hitting a house at 1115 Ritterskamp. Officers arrived at the residence and located a 1993 Ford SUV up against the residence at 1115 Ritterskamp Ave with the landscaping damaged. The driver of the vehicle was suspected of being intoxicated. Further investigation found that Terrell Dale, driver of the SUV attempted to pull into the driveway at 1117 Ritterskamp Ave and ended up damaging the property next door at 1115 Ritterskamp Ave.

Terrell J. Dale was later arrested for O.W.I and transported to the Knox County Jail lodged.

On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer arrested Zachary J. Carter, 25, of Vincennes, IN for Driving While Suspended-Prior, a class A misdemeanor, after he was found operating a motorcycle at Wabash Ave. and N. 11th St. Carter was also cited for No Proof of Financial Responsibility, No Registration Plates, and Failure to Stop for a Stop Sign. Carter is being held in the Knox County Jail on $4000 bond.
