NATURE OF INCIDENT: Burglary in Progress

ARRESTED: Joshua L. Anderson 24YO Vincennes, Indiana

ARRESTED: Matthew A. Slater 29YO Vincennes, Indiana

CHARGES: Burglary – level 5 Felony

On Wed 10-22-14 at about 2:54 PM officers dispatched to 1823 Buntin Street on a call of a Burglary in progress. Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with Joshua Anderson & Matthew Slater in the alleyway behind the house by the garage attempting to take a vehicle motor laying on the ground. Information obtained from the complainant was that the subjects had taken the motor from the locked closed garage and that the subjs had entered the garage and removed the motor from the garage. Both subjects, Joshua Anderson & Matthew Slater were arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail and lodged on a charge of Burglary.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Wanted Person

DETAILS:

On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer located wanted person Randall Alex Wollerman III, 23, of Vincennes, INin the area of 5th St. and Perry St.Vincennes, IN. Wollerman was arrested for an outstanding Knox County Superior II Court Warrant for a Probation Violation on felony Operating While Intoxicated charges. Wollerman is being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Traffic Offense

DETAILS:

On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer recognized Brandon Michael Weber, 27, of Vincennes, IN driving a green Chevrolet Cavalier in the area of Emison Rd. and Autumn Ridge Ln.Vincennes, IN. Knowing Weber to be a suspended driver, the Officer checked Weber’s license status and found him to hold a suspended-prior operator’s license through Indiana. The Officer stopped Weber and arrested him for Driving While Suspended-Prior. Weber is being held in the Knox County Jail on $4000 bond.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Suspicious

DETAILS: Officer of the Vincennes Police Department responded to a report of two suspicious males in the area of the storage units at Cullop and Beret. Officers were advised that the males were walking away from the units with backpacks and bicycles. Officer made contact with the two males in the area. Howard T. Young, 48, Vincennes was found to have a probation violation warrant through KnoxCounty. During a search Mr. Young was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well as paraphernalia. Chadrick A Royal, 43, Vincennes, was found to be in possession of a stolen bicycle that had been previously reported to the Vincenens Police Department. Both men were arrested and transported to the KnoxCountyLawEnforcementCenter.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Traffic Stop/Drug Investigation

DETAILS: Officers with the Vincennes Police Department were alerted to a reckless driver traveling at a high rate of speed on US 41 Southbound. Officers observed the vehicle and effected a traffic stop. Matthew J. Osborne, 32, Washington IN was issued citations for driving while suspended, and operating a vehicle without proof of insurance, Knox County Sherriff Department assisted with a walk around on the vehicle with a K-9 unit. The K-9 unit indicated the presence of a controlled substance. A subsequent search resulted in Mr. Osborne being arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Robbery/Drug Investigation

DETAILS: Officers with the Vincennes Police Department responded to a request for assistance from the Vincennes University Police Department regarding a robbery that had just occurred. During the course of the investigation two men were arrested. Dylon D. Collins, 19, Gary IN, and Chinoya B Phiri, 19, IndianapolisIN. Mr. Collins was charged with Robbery, Possession of Marijuana, Dealing in Marijuana, Possession of a firearm with obliterated serial numbers, possession of alcohol by a minor and maintaining a common nuisance. Mr. Phiri was charged with visiting a common nuisance.

DETAILS: Officers of the Vincennes Police Department responded to WalMart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers identified the suspect as Dylon D. Collins, 19, Gary IN, Mr. Collins was issued a citation for conversion and was arrested for minor possession of alcohol.
