On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer located 27 year old Justin W. Wirey at his residence in the 600 Block of Broadway St. Vincennes, IN. Wirey was arrested for an outstanding Knox County Superior 1 Court Warrant for Strangulation and Domestic Battery. Wirey is being held in the Knox County Jail on $5000 bond.

ARRESTED: David S Holland age 35 from Vincennes, IN

DETAILS: Officers located an intoxicated male standing in the middle of main St near 1st street. The male had been kicked out of the bar and was attempting to gain entry again. The male was placed under arrest and transported to the Hospital for Medical clearance. He was then transported to the Knox Co jail and booked in for Public intoxication Resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Domestic Battery

DETAILS:

On the above date and time, Vincennes Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic battery call in Building 11 of Autumn Ridge Ln. Vincennes, IN. After an investigation revealed two instances of combat with both subjects being an aggressor, arrested was Crystal M. Graham, 19, of Vincennes, IN and Arthur J. Johnson, 18, of Vincennes, IN. Both were arrested for Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Juvenile, a level 6 felony. Both subjects are being held in the Knox County Jail on $5000 bond.

Johnson was arrested for an outstanding Knox County Superior II Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on Conversion charges. Johnson is being held in the Knox County Jail without bond pending court appearance.

ARRESTED: Michael g Wilson age 35 from Vincennes

DETAILS: Officers were dispatched to 16th & McKinley in regards to a Moped accident. Officers located Mr. Wilson who was intoxicated. Mr. Wilson refused to take a chemical test. He was placed under arrest for DUI refusal, DUI Felony, Resisting law enforcement, battery on a police officer and Criminal mischief. He was transported to GSH for medical evaluation and then transported to the Knox Co jail and booked in on the above charges.

On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer located wanted person Jessica Nicole Cunningham, 32, of Vincennes, IN at her residence in the 1100 Block of Busseron St. Vincennes, IN. Cunningham was arrested for a Knox County Superior II Court Warrant for Failure to Appear on Battery charges. Cunningham is being held in the Knox County Jail without bond pending court appearance.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Domestic Battery

DETAILS: Michael Jarvis, 51 years old of Vincennes, was arrested for domestic battery after officers received a report of a domestic dispute at Jarvis’ home. Officers arrived on scene and found Jarvis battering a female in the vacant lot behind the residence. Jarvis was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Knox County Jail.

Jarvis is being held without bond and pending court date in Knox Superior Court II.

DETAILS: Maiquer Salvador, 26 years old of Vincennes, was found intoxicated while in the 200 Blk of 2nd Street after having created a disturbance in Walgreens. Maiquer fled the store after employees contacted the police department and was located stumbling in the middle

Of the roadway. Maiquer was taken into custody after having registered a blood alcohol content of .310%. Maiquer was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was booked in under the charge of public intoxication. Maiquer is being held pending bond.

NATURE OF INCIDENT: Child Abuse

DETAILS:

On the above date and time, a Vincennes Police Officer and an investigator with the Indiana Department of Child Services were conducting an investigation into a report that a (2) year old juvenile male was being cared for by a mother that was using methamphetamine. The child was admitted into medical care for health concerns and during that time, it was discovered that the child also tested positive for the presence of amphetamines. The Officer then responded to the residence of the caregivers for the child. Arrested were 44 year old Gregory A. Whitten (step-father of the child) and 37 year old Judith A. Whitten (mother of the child), both of Vincennes, IN for Neglect of a Dependant Child, a class 5 felony. Both subjects are being held in the Knox County Jail on $10,000 bond.
